Our procedure

Project management
It is our belief at Gigant that every customer deserves our full attention, whether you contact us for a small event or a major festival. And although we do give all our clients the same level of attention, some projects require more time and effort than others. Most projects go through the same efficient, logistic process: each client is introduced to a contact at the office who will remain their go-to person throughout the project. Projects are developed in-house and then constructed on site by a team of experienced team leaders and construction workers.

Still, some projects may require extra attention at the event location because of scale, complexity and/or logistics. In those cases, Gigant offers experienced project managers to coordinate the project from start to finish. This approach ensures intensive communication between client and project manager, who is in charge of all arrangements and the finalization of festival drawings, and who will be the client’s contact on site. By staying close to the action, loss of information will be kept to a minimum.

Company process
We like to compare our company process to a chain. Why?  Because a chain has links that are connected to each other, and when all links are connected successfully, the chain forms a circle.

And that’s exactly how Gigant operates. The chain starts at our rental department, where you are introduced to your account manager who will guide you through the initial steps. They help you design the perfect stage or construction for your event. This creative process will continue until you are satisfied with the design or decide on a stage that’s just right for you.

As soon as the basic decisions have been made, it’s time to connect the next link: the project preparation. In many cases, a planning engineer has been working on your project in the background to make sure all creative ideas are safe and feasible. The project preparation department drafts a technical drawing of your project, and if necessary can provide calculations to submit to (governmental) inspection authorities. By presenting the drawing and visuals beforehand, you can see exactly what your stage or construction will come to look like, so there won’t be any surprises afterwards.

Several weeks before construction starts, we introduce the next link to our chain: planning. Our planning team schedules the right construction workers and makes sure there’s an experienced team leader at the event location who will serve as your contact. But there’s more, because apart from providing you with skilled staff, they also fine-tune everything concerning construction and deconstruction. Everything will be tailored to your needs to make sure the right material and construction workers are at the right place at the right time.

At the construction site, we connect the last link, our experienced construction workers and team leader, to our chain. The team leader will answer all your questions at all times, and he and the team will build the stage or construction. That way, Gigant hopes to contribute to the success of your event.

After the event, we’ll come back to deconstruct and pack everything into our trucks and return to Eersel. We will leave the area the way it was presented to us – empty! Since the first link of the chain is now connected to the last one, we can hopefully look back on an amazing event.

Project preparation
Project preparation is the center of our operations at Gigant International. The name gives it away – the department is in charge of all preparatory activities for our projects, ranging from calculations and drawings to making sure the right materials for your stage or construction are delivered at your event location in time. Highly skilled drafters and constructors design our stages using our Solid Works design software, which allows them to draft the stage meticulously and present you with construction drawings and visuals beforehand so you can actually see what your ideas will come to look like.
